Hillfort International School was founded in 2009 with a simple but powerful vision: to create a school in Abuja where every child is known by name, nurtured in character, and challenged to achieve their fullest potential.
Nestled in the serene Galadimawa area of Abuja's FCT, our school has grown from a small community of families who believed in a different kind of education — one that blends academic rigour with Christian values, emotional intelligence, and global awareness.
Today, Hillfort International School serves over 500 students from Early Years through Secondary, with a faculty of more than 50 passionate educators committed to every child's success.

Hillfort International School opens its doors with a founding class of 45 students from Nursery to Primary 3, led by a small team of dedicated educators with a shared vision.
Expanded to full Primary 1–6, introduced the British curriculum alongside the Nigerian curriculum, and received first government accreditation.
Moved to our current location at C225 Maccido Royal Estate, Galadimawa, with expanded classrooms, a science lab, library, and sports facilities.
Launched our Secondary School, offering JSS1 through SS3, giving our students a seamless educational journey from nursery to senior secondary.
Introduced our School Management System (SMS), computer labs, smart classrooms, and coding clubs — equipping students for a digital future.
