Supporting the whole child
At Hillfort, pastoral care is not an afterthought — it is central to everything we do. We believe that children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and valued as individuals.
Every student is assigned a Form Teacher who serves as their first point of contact for any personal, social or academic concerns. We also have a dedicated pastoral support team who work with students, parents and external professionals when needed.
Our pastoral care approach is grounded in our Christian values of love, compassion and dignity for every person.

Each class has a dedicated form teacher who knows every student personally and monitors their daily wellbeing.
Confidential counselling is available for students experiencing personal, social or emotional challenges.
We contact parents promptly when concerns arise and keep families informed about their child's progress and wellbeing.
We have a zero-tolerance approach to bullying. Our clear policies and procedures ensure every child feels safe at school.
A trained first-aider is on site at all times. We have clear procedures for illness, accidents and emergency situations.
Daily devotions, chapel services and faith-based values help students develop strong moral character and inner peace.
Enrol your child in a school where wellbeing is always the priority.
